Braking form of F1 racing car

Front axle (yellow area): brake pedal (green) – > master cylinder – > wheel cylinder (caliper)
Rear axle (blue area): brake pedal (green) – > master cylinder – > pedal foot feeling simulator – > energy storage chamber – > ers-k energy recovery system
Compared with civilian vehicles, the overall structure simplifies the booster and ESC system (that is, F1 racing car needs more force to step on the brake pedal than civilian vehicles, and it is extremely easy to lock up without ABS).
The highlight lies in the difference between the rear axles. The pedal foot feeling simulator – > energy storage chamber – > ers-k energy recovery system is similar to the current energy recovery scheme of new energy vehicles, which recovers the braking pressure established by the pedal, while the real braking force on the wheel is realized by the reverse traction of the motor.
